What We Are Looking For

At CORE: New York, we seek thoughtful, dynamic individuals who are passionate about creating meaningful experiences for our Members and guests. We are currently seeking an accomplished Barista to join our world, and we invite you to submit your resume for consideration. Select candidates will be invited to attend one of our upcoming scheduled open calls.

• 1+ years of experience as a barista in a fine dining, luxury hospitality, or specialty coffee setting
• Outstanding knowledge of coffee, espresso, and tea preparation, including sourcing and origin
• Individuals who lead with kindness, thoughtfulness, and respect, and who value a collective performance

Responsibilities

• Perform all tasks required to open and set up the coffee and beverage station, including calibrating equipment, stocking supplies, and ensuring the space is clean and guest-ready
• Prepare and deliver coffee, espresso, tea, and specialty beverages to Members and guests accurately, efficiently, and with grace
• Maintain complete knowledge of all coffee and beverage offerings, including origin, roast, and preparation method, to answer Member and guest inquiries
• Uphold meticulous cleanliness and maintenance standards for all espresso machines, grinders, and related equipment
• Resolve guest concerns by finding a way to say yes, involving the Manager on Duty as needed
• Anticipate and fulfill a wide range of Member and guest needs, both food and beverage and beyond
• Execute proper steps of service with efficiency, speed, and grace
• Perform all routine and assigned opening, closing, and side work
• Uphold the team's high standards of service, cleanliness, and appearance
• Champion excellence through service and world-class hospitality
• Champion the values, mission, and standards of CORE: New York
