Azure Cloud Automation Engineer

Charlotte, NC - Hybrid (3 Days onsite - 2 Days Remote)

MUST WORK ON DIRECT W2 (NO C2C)

TEKsystems is seeking a Cloud Automation Security Engineer with 7-10 years of experience supporting cloud-based infrastructure and managed streaming platforms across AWS and Azure. This role focuses on Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation, cloud security, and enterprise-scale deployments while partnering with engineering, security, operations, and application teams.

Top Skills:

• 7-10 years of experience in cloud engineering, automation, or infrastructure engineering

• Strong Python development experience

• Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services

• Experience working with public cloud platforms including AWS and Azure

• Strong Infrastructure as Code (IaC) experience using Terraform

• Experience building automation solutions with Python and Ansible

• Hands-on experience with Kafka and managed streaming services including AWS MSK, Azure Event Hubs, and Kinesis Data Streams

• Experience creating and maintaining Ansible Playbooks and Ansible Tower

• Knowledge of cloud security fundamentals including IAM and certificate management

• Basic Linux/UNIX scripting experience

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Charlotte, NC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $89.00 - $89.00/hr.
